This page explains what happens to your data on this website. In short: no cookies, no advertising trackers, nothing stored on your device, and your email address only if you give it to us.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (USA). To deliver the pages, Netlify necessarily processes technical access data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). See Netlify's privacy policy.

Anonymous usage counts

We count page views, button clicks and quiz steps per page version to learn which version is most useful. These counts contain no IP address, no identifier and no cookie, and cannot be linked to you. Your quiz answers are not stored. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

If you enter your email address and tick the consent box, we store it to tell you when Harvardly opens. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us. We delete the address on request, and at the latest 12 months after launch.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe on their own secure page; we never see your card details. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

AI processing

What you type into the tool is sent once to our AI provider, Anthropic PBC (USA), to write your result. Anthropic does not use these inputs to train its models. We do not keep free previews. If you pay, we keep your finished result together with your payment reference for 30 days so you can reopen it from your link; then it is deleted. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Fonts

Fonts are hosted on this website itself. No connection to Google or other font services is made.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to a data-protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, email hello@ventus-labs.com.
